This week retreat is about giving yourself time and space. In a caring, supportive, and absolutely stunning setting, you can offer your body, heart, and mind the opportunity to unwind from their daily stresses. This week offers a refilling of our vital energies. Yoga and Mindfulness are tools to help us better meet the fullness of life with all of its beauty, chaos, and heartbreak. We learn how to more wholeheartedly enjoy the delights of life and how to meet our struggles compassionately. Through immersing yourself in the daily yoga, mindfulness meditation classes, dharma talks as well as delighting in the delicious meals and sitting by the calming river, you will build up more physical, emotional, and mental strength and flexibility. You can then return home recharged and full of life.
This retreat is open to everyone of all levels and experience.
To help the practice sink in deeper and more fully,
mornings are held in silence until 11.00 am.
On this retreat you will have the chance to:
Energize your body through yin and yang yoga,
Calm and focus your mind through mindfulness meditation,
Recharge your soul through spending time by the river, in the gardens, amongst the bamboo, and around the goldfish pond
Fuel yourself with deliciously good food!
It'll be an entire week for you to take care of yourself and delight in life.

How to get there:
Easy Jet flies to Bordeaux from Berlin. Then it is an 1h30 drive or you can take the train to Perigieux and then a taxi to Cubjac.

ARRIVALS You are welcome to arrive between 14h and 20h on the opening day of this event.
DEPARTURE Rooms need to be vacated by 10h on the closing day of this retreat and we ask that you leave the Moulin by 14.30h. Lunch is the last meal which you are welcome to stay for.
KARMA YOGA ~ Giving of service
Moulin de Chaves is a non profit Association. Everyone who comes here on retreat contributes 50 mins of their time each day towards the running of the Moulin. This may be anything from washing up, veggie chopping, cleaning, or gardening. This practice is done in silence. We thank you in advance for helping us in this way.
To help the practice sink in deeper and more fully, mornings are in silence until 11.00. The morning quiet adds more spaciousness and inner tranquility to the week.
All rooms in the main house share two bathrooms and toilets on each floor of the building. Single rooms ensuite are in the new Dharma hall a short walk from the main house where the meals are served. The luxurious Moulin tents are a short walk to the shower and toilet complex, therefore a torch is recommended.
We provide bedding and towels for all rooms.
During your stay here, you will be offered 3 healthy and nutritionally balanced vegetarian meals. The main meal of the day is Lunch time with a lighter supper of soup, bread and spreads in the evening time. We endeavour to use organic and fair-trade ingredients as much as possible and are on the road to being 100% organic.
For those who are vegan, wheat, gluten or diary free, or have any other dietary restrictions, we can provide on request a simple diet of steamed vegetables, a simple protein such as lentils, pulses and a simple carbohydrate. We are sorry but we are unable to offer any other more specialized diets.
Hots drinks are available all day.
