This week retreat is about giving yourself time and space in an caring, supportive, and absolutely stunning setting. It is a chance to offer your body, heart, and mind the opportunity to unwind from their daily stresses. It is so important for yourself and for those in your life to take time out for you. It is a necessary refilling of our vital energies. Yoga and Mindfulness are tools to help us better meet the fullness of life with all of its beauty, chaos, and heartbreak. We learn how to more wholeheartedly enjoy the delights of life and how to meet with compassion its struggles. Retreats like this also offer room for our natural creativity and joy to bubble up and surface more and more spontaneously. Through immersing yourself in the daily yoga and mindfulness meditation classes, delighting in the delicious meals and sitting by the calming river, you will build up more physical, emotional and mental strength and flexibility. You can then return home recharge and full of life.
This retreat is open to everyone of all levels and experience.

How to get there:
Easy Jet flies to Bordeaux from Berlin. Then it is an 1h30 drive or you can take the train to Perigieux and then a taxi to Cubjac.

ARRIVALS You are welcome to arrive between 14h and 20h on the opening day of this event. It is not possible to arrive before this date unless you are attending a previous retreat.
DEPARTURE Rooms need to be vacated by 10h, on the closing day of this event and we ask that you leave by 15h. Lunch is the last meal which you are welcome to stay for. It is not possible to stay on at Le Moulin, unless you are attending the next retreat.

ACCOMMODATION
All rooms in the main house share two bathrooms and toilets on each floor of the building. There are no en-suites.
The Garden dormitory (women only) has beds for up to 8 people. There is a short walk to the shower and toilet complex, therefore a torch is recommended.
We provide bedding and towels for all rooms.

MEALS
During your stay here, you will be offered 3 healthy and nutritionally balanced vegetarian meals. The main meal of the day is Lunch time with a lighter supper of soup, bread and spreads in the evening time. We endeavour to use organic and fair-trade ingredients as much as possible and are on the road to being 100% organic.
For those who are vegan, wheat, gluten or diary free, or have any other dietary restrictions, we can provide on request a simple diet of steamed vegetables, a simple protein such as lentils, pulses and a simple carbohydrate. We are sorry but we are unable to offer any other more specialised diets.
Hots drinks are available all day.

KARMA YOGA ~ Giving of service
Moulin de Chaves is a non profit Association. Everyone who comes here on retreat contributes one hour of their time each day towards the running of the Moulin. This may be anything from washing up, veggie chopping, cleaning, or gardening. We thank you in advance for helping us in this way.
​
MEMBERSHIP
The Moulin de Chaves operates as a French registered Non Profit Association (loi 1901). In order to maintain this status, all activities are offered as a service to Association members. When you arrive you will be asked to pay an annual subscription of €10 which allows us to offer events at the Moulin for the lowest possible cost. Without membership, we would have to operate as a profit-oriented, tax-paying organization.

YEAH YOGA NOW
HAD ITS FIRST ADVENTURE IN ITALY AND
IT WAS AMAZING
YEAH!
There was sunshine, fantastic people, delicious food, laughter, tears, lots of yoga, quiet times, and silly times. We were super heroes and did things "Italian style." We ate Gelatie, drank wine, beer, and Aperol Spritzers. We swam in the Mediterranean, were blown around in the yoga swings by unusually strong winds, and read poetry. We danced and meditated. We lost and found a restaurant. We shared our stories in English, Dutch, German, and French. We enjoyed ourselves and each other. It was a fantastic week and I look forward to many more Yeah Yoga Now adventures.
