Mindfulness & Yoga Workshop:
Grounded Body,
Open Heart,
Clear Mind
What is Yin Yoga:
Yin yoga is a still, slow form of yoga. Postures are done sitting or lying and are held for 2 to 5 minutes long. It is the vital balance needed to an active, dynamic, and muscular yoga practice or lifestyle. Yin targets the fascia (connective tissue) and meridians, creating more ease throughout the body, especially in your joints. It is extremely helpful for relieving back pain and loss of flexibility. Yin yoga helps us to achieve and maintain our own personal range of motion. By activating the meridians and the parasympathetic nervous system, it calms our body and minds. It relieves stress and tension in the physical body. It opens us up to the depth of our emotional body, providing us with time and space to hold and digest our emotions. Through yin's natural meditative qualities, it helps still the mind allowing for more clarity of thought and insight.

Mindfulness & Yoga Workshop:
Grounded Body, Open Heart, Clear Mind
ONLINE Workshop

In this workshop, we tune into our three centers: Body, Heart, Mind. We will cultivate awareness and connection as we pause in each center. In the Yang Yoga, will strengthen and awaken our Hara (belly center). In the Yin Yoga, we will soften into and open our hearts. The meditations will serve to clear the mind. Pranayama practices will also be offered to help invigorate and connect the three centers.

It continues to be important that we keep coming back to our practice to cultivate more awareness, compassion, and gentleness. There is much healing in pausing, softening, and connecting. By gently tuning into our bodies through yoga and meditation, these practices offer us more energy and space to fully meet the joys and sorrows of life. They bring more vividness and ease into our physical, emotional, and mental lives. They deepen our resilience for a more awake lifestyle and help remind us to be gentler with ourselves and each other.
